I can remember clearly as a young boy our home theater decor; basically a television with a bunch of ornaments sitting on top of it and not much else. In all honesty, most people would give "an arm and a leg" to be in aposition to decorate and set up a home theater room. Many home theater decor products are designed to make the experience fun. How about setting up theater posters and putting up a marquee? At the other end of the spectrum, home theater decor can be very elegant. Instead of Buttkicker chairs, there are intimate love seats...hmmm... sectionals and couches as comfortable as theater chairs. Art deco accessories always blend well with home theater decor, and rooms are often painted in the rich tones of the classic art deco theaters. The home theater components are hidden in specially-made cabinets, while the speakers can be placed inside them or they could be hidden in the ceiling or wall. If you like, flat screen TV’s could be suspended into a cabinet. Alternatively, they could quite easily be mounted on the wall and covered when not in use.

There is no limit to how a home theater room can be set up today except budget but a prudent shopper with a little patience can find great home theater decor without too many problems. The thing to remember is, it will generally be an area of fun and entertainment so have fun creating it.
