-the length of the shows/ program/ movies – if you and your family are couch potatoes, you need to settle for a really comfy home theater chair model or you will get all type of back problems

-the budget you have earmarked for this – this is one of the most important criteria. The home theater chair model and number will have to be according to the budget.

-whether the chairs are permanent fixed or will need to be removed after the show is over – if you are looking for a fixed chair, there will be a lot of wonderful stuff which can be fixed on the floor which will also give you a wonderful cinema hall feel; however, if they need to be removed then the chairs would have to be light and storable elsewhere

-in time you will want to upgrade – if you think that in one year’s time you will refurbish your place, then you need not go for a major expense today.
