Color, sound and picture quality are the ones we are actually taking in consideration whenever we feel like buying a new boob tube. Pioneer, one of the electronic brands known worldwide, is also famous for its high-def televisions. In fact, ever since the company was established, Pioneer has been competitive enough to produce the best electronic devices. This time, they have invaded the market with not just one but two of their 50-inch Pioneer Plasma HDTV.

There are two kinds of Plasma HD television that Pioneer offers: the Pioneer PDP-5020FD set and the Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-111FD. Both TV comprises superior image quality, superb sound quality and adjustable color preferences.

The Pioneer PDP-5020FD television set has a two-way speaker mounted on the side of its plasma monitor. The sound quality is very much commendable since you can almost compare it to the sound produced in movie theatres. About its red, blue and greens, you can adjust each to suit your viewing satisfaction. The pictures are so sharp; it's similar to watching a scene in actuality. If you are tight on your budget, this is the cheapest yet high-tech flat TV you can afford.

On the other hand, most techies prefer the Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-111FD because of its incomparable picture quality. It is known to be the best plasma HDTV model to date. Despite of its numerous competitors in the market, no one can still beat this kind of Pioneer Plasma HDTV. This TV, weighing 88 pounds, possesses a three way-speaker for superior sound quality; you'll hear even that high-pitched sound produced by a falling coin. It also comes with a PC and an Ethernet input. It also has a USB port and a headphone jack in case you want the TV all by yourself. This kind of television set also comprises an anti-glare feature that lessens the impacts of the light on the background. It has a vivid color quality that is as accurate as the real thing. If you choose to watch movies with your Elite Kuro TV, you will definitely have a blast. Because of all of these marvelous features, this TV is indeed expensive, but the price is fair if you will enumerate all of its astonishing attributes. The Elite Kuro TV will surely not fail you in terms of its high-class performance.

Will my HDTV plasma from the USA, work when I move to tokyo Japan?

Its a panasonic plasma, will it work in tokyo as is?

Not exactly. We have almost the same voltage, so that won't be much of a problem but we have different tuner frequency( for the channels.) so you might lose a few channels.

Also, in 2011, all the broadcasting in Japan will be digital terrestrial broadcasting(all Analog Broadcasting will be terminated.) so you'd need a tuner for that to watch TV.
( Or buy a new DVD player in Japan, and use your TV as a monitor.)

If you think about the expenses sending your TV to Japan and buying new equipment, I'd just go buy a new one in Japan.

A 50 inch Plasma is around $1700 - $3500 nowadays.
( My 50 inch panasonic plasma I bought 3 months ago was $2400?

Once You Know, You Newegg
