Projector shows vertical red lines. Is there a fix?
I have a Philips Proscreen 4600 lcd projector. It now projects parallel vertical red lines across the entire picture. Of course I could buy a new projector, but I was hoping that there is a way to fix it. I've read that it might be the control board, but does anyone have a solution that could fix or minimize the problem?
No...sounds like you have a circuit frying or fried on the board. You could check with Philips on the warranty length for that model and see about getting a discount on repairs.
I have an Infinity surround sound system and had a speaker go out and to my surprise it had a 3 year warranty. I had to pay for labor but got the parts for free.
